Martha's entry for the 2012 AWS (American Watercolor Society) show was accepted! Her first AWS acceptance and a long time goal! The painting is "Garden Intrigue".
	Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust Auction is September 18, 2011. Martha entrance for that event is, "Tug Hil Farming".
The CNYWS show at Utica College has its reception on September 16, 2011. Martha has won an award for her entrance in the show as well... details to follow soon.
	September 6 - October 1, 2011 "Flight of Fancy" is Martha's juried entry for the 2011 Pastel Society of America (PSA) Show. There were over 1000 entries and 180 were selected to be shown at the National Arts Club in New York City. Martha won the "Southeast Pastel Society Award" for this work!
Friday, September 2—Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011 Old Forge Plein Air Paint Out Click here for more information Auction Sunday, Sept. 4, 5pm In the center of Old Forge, under the tent, next to The Forge Motel. Free Admission Moose River Passage, was Martha's auction entry for the event. It sold for $400!
	August 12 - October 2, 2011 Martha's watercolor "Garden Fanfare", has been juried into the Adirondack National Exhibition of American Watercolors at the Old Forge Arts Center in Old Forge, NY. This painting won The Brodock Award, donated by the William G. Brodock Family of Old Forge. "Garden Fanfare" will be pictured in the 2011 ANEAW catalog along with all the other award winning images from the show. It has also been selected for the 2011 ANEAW Traveling Show.
July 1-4, 2011 Martha was a highlighted artist at Gallery 3040 in Old Forge on July 1-4 for the Friday Art Walk and through the weekend.	© All rights reserved by chadsmithpaintings
	June - July 2011 Martha's watercolor, "Garden Divas," was juried in to the Transparent Watercolor Society of America's 2011 show which runs through July 31 at the Kenosha Public Museum in Kenosha, WI.
June 2011 Martha's pastel titled "Winter Break" was on exhibit through June 26 in the Northeast National Pastel Exhibition at the Arts Center in Old Forge.

May 2010 Martha has earned "Signature Member" status in the Transparent Watercolor Society of America (TWSA)! It is a respected national level organization for artists who specialize in watercolor as a transparent medium. To learm more about the TWSA, click here.

THCA has a show of member art scheduled for the month of September 2009 at the Dodge Pratt Northam Art Center in Boonville, New York. All works in the show will be for sale. Fifty percent of proceeds from show sales will be donated to THTLT.
May 2 - July 27, 2009 Martha has had her watercolor, Garden Scents, juried into the 2009 show of Transparent Watercolor Society of America (TWSA) to be held at the Kenosha Public Museum in Kenosha, WI May 2 - July 27, 2009. This is her second acceptance into this show. Her watercolor, Shadows On Gold, was accepted into the 2006 TWSA show. More about TWSA can be found at www.watercolors.org.
